its been a while

But its ok now ,well what a few months its been, non stop on the other dogs out there that needed me and me dads help, so i have made a little video of them [ just click on the link] . wot have i been up to ,loads ive been back to where i stayed for so long just to show them im getting on ok, at the moment we have a young lad fletcher lodging wiv us boy is he a strange one ?, just wants to keep playing about all the time . Me dad calls him an ugly duckling, but i call him a pain in the a**e , cos he just keeps nicking my toys.

Oh you never guess wot ?, it was me moms birthday and me auntie Eva and uncle Duncan came down to see her [ I think they must be litter mates , cos me mom said she was her sister ] . Well they are Scottish , what ever that is ?, all i know is they talk funny , but they are real cool people, well any way the football was on ,the world cup, and me dad had put all these flag things on the house and me mom made me wear a scarf thing and it was summer [ strange lady] , anyway they all had a few drinks and yep you guessed it, the camera comes out, well me dads played a trick on uncle Duncan and made him look like an England fan , but Duncan says he will get him back, I tell you people are a strange breed. pics, thats me wiv me scarf thingy, then me and uncle Duncan, then theres my mom and auntie Eva, she is a strange one but i luv her, then theres me ,dad and mom

Well what a couple of weeks, we have had a new lodger Ozzy hes the one having his chin tickled, he was a great lad a m8 who liked to play tug and chase. But lucky for him he has found a new home down south, near luton me dad says wiv his new humans, bobby and familly,

Then just before him we rehomed Buster thats him with the tyre, a young lad of just 12 mths he was just a bit to amorous with the older lady dog who he lived with, so unfortunatly had to go. But he has now been rehomed up north with John and his family, so i never got to meet him.

well what a day, yesterday was [wed]me dad only went out and bought himself a new toy . A bl***y sat nav thingy , so guess wot , muggins ere has only had to go sit in the car wiv him , and drive about for hours trying to get lost so he could say it diddnt work , and listen to comments like , ok lad we will just turn up here see if it knows where we are , well ive seen more carparks and supermarkets to last me a life time, and he says im daft

Well i met a new mate as well Murphy is his name ,hes a big lad for a 1 yr old , but it is great we run about and play ,and chase each other ,great fun, i will tell you a funny thing that happened the other day ,me and murph were playing the chase me and i will just turn around and chase you game when guess what ? his dad got in the way ,silly human, and murph just bounced off him and carried on running. All I could here was me dad laughing and murphs dad swearing , so i turned round to look and murphs dad wanted to join in, so he decided to roll about in the mud. Greatstuff thought us and went over and jumped about and played with him, but he wanted to play by himself, cos he just kept on shouting get off and leave me alone, silly human dont he know its better when we join in. And all the time me dads just stood there laughing, me i couldnt see what was funny we were just playing.

my life by one rescued rottweiler

Well where do i begin,

my life hasnt allways been great, up untill a few months ago [ november last year], life to me was just abuse and living in a kennel . From an early age I was beaten and abused , I still bear the scars to prove it ,both phisicaly and mentaly. I was chained up and beaten ,kicked and hit with objects sticks and things. Even when I was rescued and placed into somewhere that was supposed to care for me the torture never stopped. I was used as a piece of meat just kept caged, im not sure for how long some say months some say longer ?, Ive blanked a lot of my earlier life out ,its to painful for me to remember. i was kept alive,unlike some i saw come and go at kennels. Ok i might not be the most stunning looking rotty you will ever see, im not a cute cuddly puppy, but does that condemb me to a life of cruelty. You live your life being beaten ,kicked, poked/prodded, shoved around, muzzled, having a chain around your neck that is so tight it hurts and cuts into you, then shoved into a kennels that is supposed to be a safe haven,but stink and are not cleaned , are cold ,has nowhere for me to exersize, so I was just tied up again and left to pace up and down a few feet for exercise Is it any wonder why I still have flash backs, and still dont put my trust in all people,raised voices and quick movements, I fear being hit again, iv'e had enough pain to last me a life time. Then the RWA stepped in. I have been with them for a long time 18 mths or more, looking for the right home.

As I said this all changed last november, a certain person who found out about my plight set about changing my life, thanks Rob [ even though I barked at you the last time i saw you, Im still scared of people ,sorry m8] , he stepped in and with some help from Dot and Donna set about looking for a home for me,then someone said , "lets ring Jon and Mags", so i was on my travels again ,this time to live in a foster home, where I must of done something right, because after just 3 days with them, the good news is, I now call them mom and dad. As my mom and dad say , I'm going no where , I'm home.

My life has realy changed. I no longer live in a cage, im not hit, kicked or prodded, even when i do something wrong [ i dont mean to be naughty ,its just sometimes I get a little excited or frightened ] me mom and dad just shake thier heads and say Barney its ok fella, and give me a cuddle and I feel safe again, these times happen less and less now, but the cuddles are allways there even when I just want them to make a fuss of me its not a problem. I just go up to them and they seem to know , all I ever wanted was someone to love me, just as I want someone to love who I can trust.

Well enough saddness, my life is turning around, my next story will be on the exploits me, my dad, and mom get up to speak to you all soon
